In 2009, the Lancet journal named Climate Change as the biggest global-health threat of the 21st century. In 2017, the same was arguably still true. The CFMS Global Health Advocates in 2016-17 chose climate change & health as their advocacy theme for the year. To raise awareness on this issue, they created the initiatives below. Climate Change and Health Podcast Series

Climate Change and Health Network

In collaboration with the Health and Environment Adaptive Response Task Force, the advocates are working to create local champions of medical sustainability in healthcare on medical school campuses across the country. We are pleased to announce successful positions have been created at the following schools:
