The Spring General Meeting (SGM) is an opportunity for Canadian medical students to get together and discuss important issues pertaining to medical education, advocacy, global health, wellness, and more. Join the conversation, get involved — we want to hear from you!
Registration information
How can I register?
- To register for the SGM, contact your Medical Society for more information on the selection of their delegation.
- There are no registration fees. If you are not able to register, please let us know by emailing [email protected]
Elections
Nomination Process: Applications are now closed.. At the closing of the Nominations period, we did not have any nominations for President and Quebec Regional Director. They will thus be filled at a later date in accordance with our bylaws and policies.
The Canadian Federation of Medical Students will be hosting our Spring General Meeting (SGM) virtually from April 17th-18th, 2021.

Call for Resolutions
Unfortunately, we will not be having a resolutions session at this meeting to the exceptions of two following procedural resolutions necessary to the execution of oncoming elections. Other resolutions submitted will automatically be carried forward to AGM 2021.

Please note the agenda is shorter than the usual time for CFMS meetings. Unfortunately we are unable to facilitate many of the small group and other interactive parts of the meeting. As per our policies, roundtables meetings are to be scheduled within 2 weeks of SGM. More information will be provided to their members by email.
