This is just a small portion of what we offer our members.
The membership fee is $25 for each year a student is still in medical school. If one's in the 3rd year of a 5 year program that would mean $25 for 3 years each. All years are paid upfront in one payment, and need to be paid by e-transfer to Victoria Radburn, CFMS Executive Director, office@cfms.org.If you are already a part of one of our member schools listed below, register now to activate your account. CFMS currently has 15 member schools. Students attending medical school at these member schools are CFMS members. Students attending a Canadian medical school that is not a CFMS member school have the option to become an individual CFMS member.
Medical student societies of the CFMS Member Schools are each represented by two CFMS Reps and the Medical Society President, who are responsible for attending the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Spring General Meeting (SGM). They maintain contact with each other and Board members throughout the year. Decisions are carried out by vote with each institution receiving three votes, with the exception of Le Centre de formation médicale du Nouveau Brunswick, who receives two votes and each Board member receiving one. Medical student societies commonly send more than two representatives to participate in CFMS meetings and activities.
