This is just a small portion of what we offer our members.
Currently you can only become a CFMS member when you're attending a Canadian Medical school.The membership fee is $25 for each year a student is still in medical school. For example, when in the 3rd year of a 5 year program that would mean $25 for 3 years each. All years are paid upfront in one payment (in the example above $75), and needs to be paid by e-transfer to Victoria Radburn, CFMS Executive Director, office@cfms.org.
You are already a member and should register now to activate your CFMS website account when you're attending one of our 15 Member Schools (west to east):
University of British Columbia, University of Alberta, University of Calgary,
University of Saskatchewan, University of Manitoba, NOSM University,
Western University, McMaster University, University of Toronto, University of Ottawa, Queen's University, McGill University, Sherbrooke University-Moncton only,
Dalhousie University, Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador.
You are not yet a member when you attend one of the following Canadian medical schools: Simon Fraser University, Toronto Metropolitan University, University of Montreal, University of Laval, Sherbrooke University (non-Moncton locations).

CFMS Member Schools &
Their Representatives
CFMS currently has 15 member schools. Students attending medical school at these member schools are CFMS members. Students attending a Canadian medical school that is not a CFMS member school have the option to become an individual CFMS member.
Medical student societies of the CFMS Member Schools are each represented by two CFMS Reps and the Medical Society President, who are responsible for attending the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Spring General Meeting (SGM). They maintain contact with each other and Board members throughout the year. Decisions are carried out by vote with each institution receiving three votes, with the exception of Le Centre de formation médicale du Nouveau Brunswick, who receives two votes and each Board member receiving one. Medical student societies commonly send more than two representatives to participate in CFMS meetings and activities.
