Reproductive health includes family planning, maternal health, HIV/AIDS/STI prevention and treatment and sexual violence. Women’s rights are also an integral component of reproductive health.
Projects:
World AIDS Day
Globally, women make up 60% of the 15-24 year olds who are HIV +. The theme of World AIDS Day 2004 was “Have you heard me today? Women and Girls with HIV and AIDS”. All thirteen CFMS medical schools participated in World AIDS Day with activities ranging from candlelight vigils to movie nights to stigmatization awareness activities.
