Books with Wings

Knowledge is power to…………educate your patients, to heal your community, to save a child’s life, and on and on. It is easy to take for granted our ready access to information these days. However, there are countries around the world that do not have this luxury. Whether it was a bomb that destroyed their library or a tropical storm or insufficient funds many medical schools are in need of medical textbooks. Books with Wings is CFMS endorsed project that collects medical books from across the country and arranges for them to be shipped to areas/projects in need. Previous projects include the medical library in Kabul, Afghanistan.
