This is an experimental section of our web site. The goal is to list the current priority issues and projects for the CFMS. As progress is made, the status of the undertaking is updated. This allows CFMS members, and elected representatives, a quick snapshot of what is happing on different fronts.
The CFMS helps help raise as much blood as possible over a fixed time period. CFMS is the CBS' LONGEST standing partner in blood drive projects, working together for over 30 years. The "Letters to the Editor Campaign" has been a project for a number of years where students interested in regional, provincial and national medically-related issues get involved by writing letters to the editors of various publications pertaining to articles that have been printed on specific medical issues.
