Our Logo
In 2003, the CFMS conducted a national competition to design a new CFMS logo. We had over 50 entries from coast to coast, and after a long and tedious selection process, the current logo was selected as being the new symbol of the CFMS.
New Logo
The logo illustrates a sprout and the traditional stick and snake symbol of the caduceus. The sprout symbolizes the new generation of physicians that are growing in Canada, while the stick and snake of the caduceus represents the medical profession, and the maple leaf is our national symbol of Canadian unity.
