IFMSA-CANADA

Welcome!-Bienvenue!

The Canadian Federation of Medical Students (CFMS) and, the Federation of Quebec Medical Students Societies (FQMSS) makeup the Canadian Medical Students International Committee (IFMSA-CANADA).

IFMSA-CANADA participates in all of the activities organized by the International Federation of Medical Students' Association (IFMSA) and sees to their execution at the national level.

Note: the branch of Professional Exchanges SCOPE (Standing Committee on Professional Exchange) is developed independently by each the CFMS and the FQMSS due to the fact that Quebec offers exchange opportunities in French.

The CFMS includes the following medical faculties :

• Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia
• McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario

• University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
• University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta
• University of Calgary, Calgary, Alberta
• University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario
• University of Ottawa, Ottawa, Ontario
• Memorial University, St. John's, Newfoundland

The FAEMQ includes the following medical faculties :

• Université de Montr�al, Montr�al, Quebec
• Université de Sherbrooke, Sherbrooke, Quebec
• Université Laval, Qu�bec, Quebec

McGill University, in Montreal, due to its special status as an English medical faculty established in the province of Quebec, its students are members of both the CFMS and the FAEMQ.
